The 12th Bled Forum on Europe

The 12th Bled Forum on Europe, is taking place in Bled, Slovenia on 3rd and 4th March 2011.

This year the Bled Forum on Europe Conference is targeting "Governance of Fear and Prosperity", in an effort to deal with the most important, non-linear global challenges and problems of decision - making.

The Centre for eGovernance Development is the main organizer of the 11th Bled Forum on Europe. The Forum is also supported by the Greek Interoperability Centre (GIC), Microsoft Corp., and the Regional Cooperation Council, among other organisations.

Among this years' key speakers are:
  • Jerome Glenn, Director of the Millennuim Project
  • Mohamed Al Qaed, CEO of eGovernment Authority, Kingdom of Bahrain
  • Dr. Jose Cordeiro - How to Address the Threat/Challenge of Poverty in the World – Singularity University, US
  • Yannis Charalabidis from the University of the Aegean / Greek Interoperability Centre
