Microsoft Innovation Centre in Greece organised an information day targeting Cloud Computing and its applications to the Public Sector, on February 10, 2011 in Athens. Titled "Innovative Approaches for Cloud Computing", the information day gathers representatives from the ICT industry, the academia and the research community.
Within the information day, a panel discussion focused on how Greece can confront the challenges of financial crisis with the aid of cloud infrastructures, featuring:
- Andreas Drimiotis, chief ICT consultant to the Prime Minister's office
- Yota Paparidou, Vice President, Greek ICT Federation
- Yannis Charalabidis, Manager, Greek Interoperability Centre
- Stavros Alexakis, Public Sector Manager, Microsoft Hellas
